Work continues in earnest on Phase 1 of Barbados' newest private residence community. Project Manager, Steve Constable gives a progress report:
"The past few weeks have seen great progress concreting the building's second floor level," reported Constable, "Rebar is installed on the third floor and we are on schedule to concrete by the end of next week."
Working in tandem with the sub-contractors, The Crane's team is nearing the completion of the first fix electrical installation on the ground floor with the ceiling structure scheduled to follow.
"Works on the ground floor pools and tanks have also begun," said Constable, "This area needs to be completed so we can erect the scaffolding to this elevation, and with the windows and patio doors on order, we are anticipating a watertight date by the beginning of May."
Work on Phase 2 of The Crane Private Residences has also commenced. The topsoil of the site is in the process of being cleared away in preparation for a geo-technical survey scheduled to begin in early February.
