The Crane Resort in Barbados opened its exciting new ‘Calypso Kids Club’The Calypso Kids Club will cater to guests aged between four and 12 and teach them about Barbados, its music, food and local wildlife. Children will have the opportunity play various Caribbean musical instruments, such as the drum and shak-shak, and the chance to participate in a ‘Kiddies Kadooment’ dancing parade around the resort. To hone their culinary skills, the Crane’s chefs will be on hand to teach children how to prepare authentic Caribbean food such as Bajan fishcakes. For those younger ones who enjoy learning about the environment and getting their hands dirty, the club’s activity coordinators will also offer a sightseeing experience around the resort exploring the local plant life, insects and birds.
